Another Day Another Dogma.

Like I wrote some time ago, Bates served me two different colour schemes to choose from. The first time around we went with a rather big format, so in order to change it up a bit this second time around, we decided to slim down this, which seemed most appropriate after some serious indulging over the holidays.

Again, some pretty fresh colours, which I have to admit works quite well up against Bates’ letters:

And so, I went to work. Only 6 meters long this time around, which resulted in a total of three finished pieces. I will not give away all the goods, as we are not at all unlikely to show them all off together at some future date, in which case it would be sad, if we didn’t keep a couple of surprises up our sleeves…

Bates thinks this specific piece looks a bit like there’s some mold in there doing its thing. I can see what he means, but I wouldn’t say it’s the first thing that comes to mind for me – to each his own.
