New take on the term penthouse
Korean installationartist Do Ho Suh investigates through the artwork Fallen star the notion of displacement and home. It’s basically a house, that is placed upon a another house. The little penthouse has tilted floors and most of it’s groundfloor hangs freely from the edges of the seven story building in San Diego.

The two pictures above shows how the house is tilted in a 10 degree angle. In a smaller scale Fallen star

Another project that investigates the notion of home and displacement is placed in Liverpool where it portrays the collision or clash of the western and eastern asian culture.

And the smaller delicate installation or sculpture Home within home
